I have been shooting these bullets for well over thirty years. Most .270 Win rifles have generous throats, and shoot 150-grain bullets the best. I have done all my medium game hunting in the intermountain west. With the 150-grain Partition, I am set for either deer, or elk. My first reloads were over IMR 4381. Five shots went into 3/4 inch. I use H 4381 SC now, with the same accuracy. I gave that first 270 to my eldest daughter when she graduated high school. They say it's only a gift if it hurts to give. It hurt, but she does me proud!
