190CC for M1 Garand NM Long Range LoadReview by Andrew065 / (Posted on 4/1/2018)I use these bullets for long range Hi-Power type shooting in my NM M1- ahead of a moderate charge of IMR 4064 in LC Match or LC cases and BR2 primers, I see consistent sub MOA performance out to 800 yards when I do my part doping the wind and breaking the trigger. They run at 2580fps, 35 ES 12 SD and the only thing holding them back is me. The cases and gun show no adverse signs and the old guys used loads similar to this back in the days before the M14/M1A became the Service Rifle ( before the AR15 took over for course shooting). Best I've done on the LR target at 800 ( my limiting factor) is 197-8x, slung prone. At 200, I routinely see 195s and 11 X score on the SR target. Neither the Hornady or Sierra seem to do as well and the price beats them soundly! Rifle wears a well worn Krieger 1/10 30/6 heavy barrel and is a Type 2A H&R built first by my Dad and rebuilt since then by myself. Cannot complain for a mid 50s guy and irons. I love recoil.....makes me focus on the post and the trigger to get it done right.
A good bullet for the 600 yd lineReview by HPR Competitor / (Posted on 9/17/2017)This Nosler CC bullet got me a good score with my M1 Garand at 600 yd. in a tough cross wind.
